LASER WORK

Streets, buildings, rivers, parks… are not identified by the written language but by sounds and images. In this way Bologna reveals itself through Lucio Dalla's songs, with the sounds of the hidden canals running under the whole city to then resurface in precious places, among the voices of the students attending the most ancient university of the Occident world; and then again with the noise of the train station that hasn't been forgetting the violent explosion happened on the 2nd of August in 1980.

Concept, prototyping and handcrafted production of a promotional gadget for an exclusive event, inspired buy a color palette made for the use of four different perfumed essences.

External structure realized with Ann offset natural paper coupled with natural cardboard.

Realization of the retraction mechanism of the scented thin plate crafted from an Aromatique paper. Screwed locking mechanism, manual assembled.

ARMILLARY SPHERE

Concept, prototyping, handcrafted production of this art work. Reproduction in a paper converting style of an ancient armillary sphere.

Entirely made of colored cardboard coupled, the zodiac signs and constellations were made through laser marking and carving; a LED lighting system has been integrated on the offset printed base.

The concept of challenge has always fascinated us.
This time Le Coq Sportif, one of the world’s most prestigious brands renowned for its sporting clothing and footwear, gave us the opportunity to go further.

The result of this precious collaboration is Sportslight: an innovative POP Dispaly designed for the exhibition of Blazon, the new line of shoes. The peculiarity of the POP Display is to have a structure that goes beyond ordinary expectations: it is formed by a series of laser cut transparent plexiglass lamellae sticked to a leather-effect paper that embrace the subject to be exhibited, in this case a Le Coq Sportif shoe, revealing it only by certain points of view. It is possible to admire the shoe interspersed with lamellae laterally, in its entirety frontally, while of the back part remains visible only the Le Coq logo.

This project has been carried out using different techniques, like laser cut, engraving, hot foil
print; moreover, to give dynamism to an object usually thought as static such as POP Display, it has been enhanced by multimedia effects on the first central lamella, that thanks to the video mapping technique recalls some important moments of the sports panorama from cycling to football, passing through athletics, rugby and tennis, in order to confer once again a dominant role to the concept at the basis of the brand. 

A celebration of the sport to 360° degrees born of our passion for finding increasingly innovative solutions to give life to paper, the same that Emile Camuset had for sports when he founded Le Coq Sportif.
